Over 64 pages, it traces the history of mugwort and moxa, from ancient China to the 21st century and from East to West, then explains moxibustion techniques and commonly used points in a practical, teaching-oriented way. Moxibustion, widely practised in Asia, has been inscribed on UNESCO's list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010.
