Made in our workshop

The wooden extinguisher puts out R1 and R2 moxa sticks without crushing them, so they can be reused many times. The burner, or moxa pipe, holds an R1 stick at the end of a handle (about 18 cm, 33 cm with the extension), making self-moxibustion easier on the back or legs. The moxa scoop catches burnt moxa during warm needle treatment. These three accessories are shaped from raw, untreated beech.

Ontake tubes in bamboo from Occitanie

The Ontake and Super Ontake tubes, made of bamboo from Occitanie treated by heat only, are used in Japanese moxibustion.

Selected from other makers

A few items come from other manufacturers: the refillable Clipper Jet Flame torch lighter, Murasaki Japanese incense for lighting cones, Papier d'Arménie to scent the room between sessions, and the bamboo case with stopper, which protects an R1 stick in transit. It is not an extinguisher: never put a stick in it while it is still hot.
