The moxa scoop is an accessory used in warm needle moxibustion to safely collect burnt moxa in contact with the skin.
Design and dimensions
Approximate dimensions are 3.8 cm wide, 4 cm deep and 1.9 cm high, with a 3 mm wide and 1.5 cm deep slot designed to accommodate the needle.
Beech wood and user comfort
Made from beech wood, this scoop provides a more comfortable contact with the skin than metal models. Wood also offers better thermal insulation, reducing heat transfer.
Stability and practical use
Its square shape and handle-free design ensure good stability when placed on the skin, facilitating use during warm needle sessions.
