This push-button moxa ashtray made of metal accompanies your moxibustion sessions. It collects the ash from your moxa stick, lets you rest the stick between two applications and extinguishes residue that is still glowing.

Use with moxa sticks

During the session, gently tap the moxa stick on the tray to remove the ash. The notches on the rim let you rest the stick between two applications. Leftover moxa cones or needle moxa can also be placed in it.

Push-button flap: the ash drops and goes out

A simple press on the push button operates the central flap: ash and embers drop into the closed bowl. Deprived of air, they go out there, and the ash stays contained inside the ashtray.

Care and precautions

The metal heats up in contact with embers: let the ashtray cool down completely before emptying or cleaning it. Empty the cold ash regularly, wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, out of the reach of children.
